ABout me
As a native of Georgia, I was raised in the small town of Rockmart & graduated from the University of Georgia. After graduating from UGA, Bill & I married & we are the parents of two daughters & have six grandchildren. Several years of teaching school led to the next stage of raising children & managing personal relocations including the purchase of 9 homes in 8 different cities. Concurrently, I began to make draperies & other décor items for our homes which evolved into my own business. Clients asking for decorating advice led me back to school to study interior design.
We became empty nesters with the last move back to Atlanta. I felt I had a unique opportunity to use what I had learned to help others purchase, sell & relocate. 24 years of successful real estate service for my clients has been a very rewarding experience. From starter homes to horse farms, I have a string of satisfied clients & long-term relationships.
Settling back in Cobb County keeps us close to longtime friends, family & our church home, Mt Bethel Church. In my leisure time I enjoy sewing, gardening, reading, travel & spending time with friends and family (especially grandchildren).

After earning Rookie of the Year honors in the first year I went on to achieve the Lifetime Senior Marketing Consultant. The SMC designation is awarded to sales associates who have distinguished themselves through exemplary achievements in the field of real estate. 10 years of achieving SMC results led to my designation as a Phoenix Award Recipient from the Atlanta REALTORS® Association. With great pride, in 2010, I received the Miss Emmie Award voted by my peers for the agent who most exemplifies the personal integrity of our company founder. Other designations include: Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Accredited Relocation Specialist (ARS) and Atlanta REALTORS® Association Top Producer Life Member.
